Dirty Heroes

Small town life appeals to home comer Richard, until he finds out that everything isn't running as smoothly as it seems. He arrives back home from a job up North to find the town's people being terrorised by a ruthless gang of outlaws. He suspects that they'r• being led by Mrs. Chore, who appears to be something of a philanthropist.
As more and more people get killed and entangled in the gang's web of violence Richard enlists the support of his sister's boyfriend, Kenneth.
Mrs. Chore decides to run in the local elections. Richard persuades Kenneth to oppose her. The whole proceeding finds them both in deep water. As a result Richard's father is murdered.
Incensed by this brutal slaying, Richard vows to avenge his father's death and rid the town of Mrs. Chore's gang. Meanwhile, the gang is planning another murder.
The sheriff of the town appears helpless, but Richard finds out that he is really in with the gang, and in a bloody gun-battle, kills him and rescues the deputy sheriff from his clutches. Now the town has no sheriff.
Richard's sister is then killed whilst out driving with Kenneth, which brings both our heroes to breaking point. At the end, there is a vicious showdown.
